Why Did the Farmer Cross the Road?
Farmer would really love to sleep in but his slumber is disturbed by his faithful companion Donkey. Donkey thinks that Farmer needs to know that his chickens, goats, pigs, sheep, and one cow have left the farm. It seems the food and fun of the county fair have lured the livestock off the farm. Can Farmer and Donkey round up those wayward critters?
With a pie eating contest, rides, and a giant Slip and Slide--what could go wrong? Young readers will laugh out loud in this unique take on the traditional chicken joke.
