JOANNE BERGEN

Joanne Bergen is a painter in the impressionist tradition, educated at Rhode Island School of Design.  She lives in Massachusetts, dividing her year between Worcester county and Martha's Vineyard. Of her work, Joanne says, "Painting is my joy.  I paint favorite places, other folks' special sites, rooms that catch my imagination.  Color, pattern, intriguing shapes and shadows speak to me,  and I want my paintings to convey that every day magic."
